Li Mu（b.1974), graduated from the Suzhou School of Art and Design, Suzhou in 1995 and the Academy of Art of Tsinghua University, Beijing in 2001. The artist now lives and works in Shanghai. Li Combining a wide range of media, including video, photography, installation and performance, he looks forward to transcending the boundaries of himself and broadening his understanding towards art. Everyday life played an important role in his works. A dynamic relationship between the environment, the general public and the artist himself is established. By resorting to his life experience, the boundary between art and daily life is further blurred.
Li Mu has been the focus of many group exhibitions and solo exhibitions, including: Credit Suisse Today Art Award 2011 Finalists Exhibition,Today Art Museum, Beijing, China (2011); Power to Host, International Studio & Curatorial Program, New York, U.S.A. (2011); 51m2：5# Li Mu, Taikang Space, Beijing, China (2010) and Gate Keeper,Van Abbemuseum ,Eindhoven, The Netherlands (2010). In 2012, he received the grant from Asian Cultural Council. Now the artist is participating the ISCP(international studio & curatorial program) artist residency program in New York.

Na Yingyu (b. 1973) is a video artist who lives and works in Beijing. Na Yingyu has exhibited extensively in China, Brazil and Israel, including China Independent Film Festival, Nanjing, China (2005, 2009, 2010); Film: Traces of Cinema and Self-Constructs in Contemporary Art, OCT Contemporary Art Terminal, Shenzhen, China (2010); The Second Guangzhou Triennial, Guangdong Museum of Art, Guangzhou, China (2006) and San Paulo Electric Music Festival (2003). His most recent project is solo exhibition Our Homeland! Gone Just Like That at Location One, New York (2012).
Issue 03- Artist: Zhang Hongtu

Zhang Hongtu（b.1943, Pingliang, Gansu Province), graduated from Central Academy of Arts and Crafts in 1972. He now resides in New York. With personal experience in socialist realism, traditional Chinese art and contemporary Western art, Zhang often reflects on themes of iconic imagery and cross-cultural "East and West" connections in his works. The art of Zhang Hongtu, is among the most widely disseminated of all contemporary Chinese artists outside of China. Zhang Hongtu has been the focus of many group exhibitions and solo exhibitions, including: The Revolution Continues, Saachi Gallery, London (2008); Reason's Clue, Lin & Keng Gallery, Beijing, travelled to the Queens Museum of Art, New York(2008); Zhang Hongtu: Selected Works, Marlboro College, Vermont (2004) and Zhang Hongtu: Material Mao, The Bronx Museum of the Arts, New York (1995). His work may be found in many private and public collections worldwide, including the Princeton University Art Museum, the Bronx Museum of Art, the Yale-China Association.
Issue 04 - Artist: Akihito Obama

Akihito Obama was born in Kagawa Prefecture in 1975. After graduating from the NHK Hogaku Gino-sha Ikusei-kai, the premier one year course for hogaku musicians aspiring to be professional performers, Obama won the Second Annual Shakuhachi Newcomer Competition (2000). An accomplished composer and versatile musical performer, he has played for diverse audiences throughout Europe, America, Asia, Oceania, and Africa. During his career, Mr. Obama has established himself as an innovative composer whose performance style exemplifies free and flexible improvisation.

John Ransom Phillips lives and works in New York City and Old Chatham, New York. He has been a faculty member of the University of California at Berkeley and the University of Chicago. His work has been exhibited internationally: New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Paris, Tokyo, Buenos Aires, São Paulo and Cairo. His paintings and watercolors are in major public and corporate collections including Bank of America, Toyota, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Phillips Collection in Washington D.C., the Albany Institute of History and Art, and the Smart Museum of Art in Chicago.

Issue 06 - Artist: Zhang Le

Lauded by Oscar-winning composer Tan Dun as "a rising young star with a remarkable gift" for their collaboration on the Zen Shaolin Project, jazz singer and composer Le Zhang leads the wave of Chinese artists who bring the power of traditional Chinese music to the home of American jazz. Le Zhang won the Sir Roland Hanna Memorial Award for Jazz Performance in New York City and is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music. Equally as arranger and vocalist, she is currently active as a performer in both New York and Shanghai. Le Zhang recently performed at 2011 Shanghai International Jazz Festival, at Bryant Park Fall Festival in New York, and at Asia Society's Chindia Dialogues Forum in New York. Her original music and arrangements of Chinese traditional folk songs in modern jazz context are capturing the attention of the American and Chinese public alike.

Issue 09 - Artist: Dai Jian

Dai Jian is a New York based artist with roots in contemporary dance, classical dance, and Martial Arts. He has created improvisations, performance installations, and visual art. Dai Jian began creating his own work alongside a professional dance performance career since he was 18 years old. Dai Jian joined New York-based Shen Wei Dance Arts in 2005 and Trisha Brown Dance Company in 2008. In 2012 he has been invited to choreography the compulsory piece for Male solo for the Boston International Ballet Competition, and choreographed for Guang Dong Modern Dance Company. He also has collaborated with filmmaker Katrina McPherson, Kirstie Simson and Michael Schumaker, visual artist Kimberly Mayhorn, Mimi Gerrard, Yin Mei, and Hou Ying.
戴剑生活和工作在纽约，是一位根植于现代舞、古典舞以及武术艺术的艺术家，他创作的领域包括即兴、装置以及视觉艺术等。戴剑于18岁时开始进行独立创作，并开始了职业舞蹈生涯。2005年加入沈伟舞蹈艺术团，2008年加入特蕾莎·布朗现代舞团，同年，北京奥林匹克开幕式上，他作为沈伟的助理参与相关工作。此外，戴剑还和电影人Katrina McPherson、Kirstie Simson、Michael Schumaker等人合作，也与视觉艺术家Kimberly Mayhorn、Mimi Gerrard、Yin Mei以及Hou Ying等人拓展艺术的领域，并与中国广东现代舞团以及金星舞剧团保持合作。

The tenth UNTITLEDdialogue invited three curators to talk about the non-profit art organizations they found or support in their second hometowns. It will be followed by a panel discussion, exploring issues related to blurring boundary between East and West, the controversial community-based art practices, new countryside laboratory and alternative organizations that don't belong to the commercial / non-commercial dichotomy.

Robert C. Morgan (罗伯特 C. 摩根): Lives and works in New York city as an international critic, curator, art historian, artist, and poet. He holds an M.F.A. in Sculpture and a Ph.D. in art history from New York University. He is Professor Emeritus in Art History at the Rochester Institute of Technology. In addition, he teaches at in the Graduate Fine Department at Pratt Institute and in the Departments of Photography and Art History at the School of Visual Arts. As an international critic, he has authored and edited numerous essays and books, translated into 18 languages. He is Consulting Editor to The Brooklyn Rail, Contributing Editor to Sculpture, and New York Editor for Asian Art News. As a painter, he has shown in several exhibitions in the United States, Europe, and Asia. In addition, he has both curated and juried over 70 exhibitions in various institutions worldwide. In 1999, he received the first Arcala award in Salamanca for international criticism. In 2011, he was elected to the European Academy of Sciences and Arts in Salzburg.
